• 9:00 AM: New Lebanon Memorial Day Assembly - New Lebanon High School, 14665 State Route 22, New Lebanon
  • Congressman Gibson will speak at the assembly about the meaning of Memorial Day.
• 11:00 AM: Green Renewables Inc - Green Renewables, 28 Taylor Avenue, Berlin
• Congressman Gibson will tour Green Renewables and make remarks.
• Background: Green Renewable, Inc., is a company focused on producing products for the heat and energy industries derived from renewable resources for a more sustainable future. This includes the production of kiln-dried firewood. Timber brought into the Northeast Green Center in Berlin, NY, is from naturally regenerated trees that are harvested by careful and thoughtful forestland management practices. The timber is fully utilized; what is not used in manufacturing is burned in their biomass gasifiers, which produces steam to generate electricity, an important step towards creating a sustainable future.
