Advisory: Congressman Gibson Joins Upstate Members, Bipartisan ‘No Labels’ Group for State of the Union

SOTU

Washington, Feb 12 -

Congressman Chris Gibson (NY-19) will be sitting with a bipartisan group of Upstate New York Members for the President’s State of the Union Address tonight.  This continues a tradition that started in 2011, where Members of the New York delegation put aside party labels to sit with each other during the speech.  A photo of the group is attached.

Additionally, Congressman Gibson will be wearing an orange “Problem Solver” pin, which is indicative of his membership in “No Labels.”  No Labels is a group of 40 Republican and Democrat House and Senate members who meet regularly to build trust across the aisle.  A list of members in No Labels is available here: http://www.nolabels.org/friends-no-labels.

Congressman Gibson is available for post-State of the Union interviews tonight and tomorrow beginning at 6 AM.
